Lots of info here Sept. 22 2010
By EagleRock Dude - Published on Amazon.com

I have always liked WROX stuff. Since the chapters are written by various people there is some overlaps sometimes, and makes if feel like a binded series of magazine articles or blogs versus a book. But I knew that going in. There's a lot of online sharepoint information, but if you wanted an old fashion book to hold sometimes like I do for some things, this is a good set. The positives of the format are that it is based on actually experiences whereas other books just seem like reprints of manuals. Content with the purchase.
"Development" does not mean programming Sept. 18 2011

This box is great if you are a business user or someone who is not a programmer who doesn't know anything about SharePoint. But it basically feels like a hand holding guide for people who can't read the official documentation. If you need to do a large amount of coding and customization at a lower level with SharePoint this set will not help you. Many of the books feel like they are walking you through wizards and template creation tools that most people could get through on their own. I read the entire set searching for useful information relevant to what I would call "development" and I received very little.

With that all said the books are written well and seem to cover what they do cover well. I think a lot of people who are note software developers will be amazed at what they can do with a little work after reading these books. They are clearly not for me and I believe some of the titles are somewhat misleading.
Fantastic price for a great product, but slow shipping May 14 2010

The box set arrived in perfect condition sealed in plastic, but it took a few days before it shipped and a few days longer than I thought it would take to arrive once shipped via "Media Shipping." If you have time to wait and need a rock-bottom price, order from that seller. If not, spend a few more dollars and buy elsewhere.

Not sure where to start with MOSS? Start here. Feb. 7 2009
By kiki-knows-best - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
While this box set isn't everything you will need to know about being successful with MOSS, this is a great starting point. You will learn the main areas of MOSS from some outstanding authors. It's a great value. MOSS is HUGE and if you are not sure where to start, start here, you won't be sorry.
