3.0 out of 5 stars How to handle W8 April 18 2014
By GCR
There is a free utility program called 'ClassicShell' that when installed gives a Windows 7 likeness to the Windows 8. Highly recommend it. You can at will change back to 8 whenever you have the time to try and figure out 8, and then revert back to the 'ClassicShell' whenever you want.

Je viens d'installer mon Windows 8, à partir duquel j'écris présentement. Mon avis?

3.0 out of 5 stars Windows upgrade or downgrade? Jan. 11 2013

After a month of using this OS on and off, I can say that I don't really like it. Much prefer Windows 7 (which I'm using now). I've set up double boot to try Win 8 and so far, not impressed, maybe I'm missing something, but I'm using a computer, not a tablet or phone...and I find the old way better.

I've heard and read a lot of good thing and much more bad thing. For me, I'm not yet sure it has what it take for a desktop, maybe service pack will add the missing feature (such as start button). But it installed without any problem, and run as well. But yet, when you need to do lot of multitasking, with many windows open, I'm not sure. To simply do internet stuff, and simple work, then it might work for you.
