Simple, comfortable design makes for a great mouse,
This review is from: Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 with BlueTrack Technology (Black) (Electronics)
The simple and comfortable design of this mouse makes it very nice to use and puts it at a nice price point. I have not noticed any hand fatigue from using this mouse. Of all the mice makes/brands that I've tried, Microsoft seems to put the most effort into ergonomics. I have been a long time Logitech user, but Microsoft mice just seem to fit my hand better and cause less fatigue. As mice technology has reached a point where the playing field is fairly even, ergonomics has become the deciding factor for me when making a purchase. The five buttons, particularly the navigational 'back' and 'forward' buttons are a must if you dislike having to click on the 'back' arrow in your browser. My only complaint about this particular mouse is that those two buttons do not have as good a tactile feel as the Logitech's I've used in the past. The main left and right mouse buttons also have a bit of resistance to being clicked, but it isn't enough to be an annoyance. Overall, this is a great mouse and would buy it again if I needed another mouse.

I use this mouse at work on a black surface. Previously, I've had trouble getting wireless mouses to track on the surface, but this mouse works great. It is also very comfortable, and the scrolling button is very smooth. Highly recommended!

Great Mouse!,

This mouse is amazing, it does everything I wanted it to do and it's just really good. I love how you can use this mouse on any surface because sometimes I like to go on my laptop on the ground and I can use this mouse on the rug. The thing that brought this mouse down a star was the fact that the scroll wheel was complete crap, I ended up pulling the grip of it off and just using the bare plastic, it now works fine and I'm very use to it. I think that maybe the USB dongle to receive the mouses wireless signal could have been a little bit smaller, it's just a bit more convenient if it's smaller and it looks a lot better. Overall this mouse is great and did everything I wanted it too, great price as well.
