There's nothing new in this book. It is a selection of articles that can be found on the Cracked website. As such, I'm not sure I needed to buy the book, although I hadn't found or read many of the selections on my frequent visits to the site. So, perhaps I could say that the editor did some work in winnowing out the better stuff. Overall I'm not disappointed with my purchase, but should you wish to save money, go to the site and read. It's cheaper.

I love [...].

It's one of the few websites I visit every single day. When this book was released I basically couldn't say no, and happily picked it up.

As is true with most of the [...] articles, each entry in the book is surprisingly funny, while teaching you something you almost definitly didn't know.

I was very disappointed however, that the bulk of the material in this book, were articles I had allready read on the website, with just a smattering of new work. For some reason, I was expecting this book to be all new content.

However, I have often re-read many of the articles on [...], and I still enjoyed reading through the recycled material for the second (or third) time. So I am still satisfied with this book overall.

This will be a great book to lend to folks who don't get to the website every day.

Most things by Cracked have the rightful word "bloody funny" prefixed to them-- or suffixed, whatever your order may be-- and this is no exception. The drawings in the book were really good and the articles were interesting.
I should have liked a Hardcover edition, as it seems the actual book is a bit fragile (front and back pages easily bent) but such is the case with most paperback books.
The contents of the book are really good. If you fancy funny reads, this is for you.
