3.0 out of 5 stars An Incomplete "Bible" Sept. 21 2007
By Michael J. Corbin - Published on Amazon.com
As a devotee and owner of Corvettes, I had hoped that Mr. Yager's Corvette Bible would be as thorough and detailed as it's name suggests. It isn't. Not only does Mr. Yager (who is involved with one of the largest aftermarket parts retailers in the Corvette world) give incomplete and rather basic information concerning each model year's Corvette, but it seems as if the book's editor utterly failed to actually EDIT the book - there are numerous factual and typographic errors in the book that detract from what is otherwise a decent layout. If an author is claiming to be publishing a "Bible" on a topic, then it needs to be an accurate, detailed, information-rich book. This book is more appropriately titled "Corvette Cliffnotes for the Newbie." While it is nice information for the untrained Corvette-wannabe, it is sorely lacking in the detail necessary to satisfy the true lover of all things Corvette.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good basic reference for Corvette fans May 25 2008
By Brian Basenberg - Published on Amazon.com
Mike Yager's "The Corvette Bible" is an excellent reference for those interested in the history and evolution of the Corvette. The photography is top-notch and there's plenty of good information as well, though there are numerous typographical errors in the book. The information given is not always as thorough or complete as some might wish for, but it is an excellent work for those who are just getting into the world of Corvettes and want a basic reference work about this legendary car.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice recap, but left me disappointed Jan. 1 2008
By Brian J. Gagnon - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Mike Yagers charts are pretty predictab;le and therefore more or less useless. While the photos are nice, someone should have proof read the text (repetions, inaccuracies, etc)

3.0 out of 5 stars of some but limited value Dec 2 2007
By L. David Taylor - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a good overview book but because it covers all years of Corvette production there isn't enough room for more detail that is necessary. On the other hand it does give a prospective purchaser a place to start.
