Great movie but NOT English-friendly,
By Rob (VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Millenium: Film [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
The movie is fantastic and is worthy of the novel it portrays (I will not go into details). However, be advised that this is not an English-friendly release. It has the original Swedish audio track (Dolby 5.1) and two French-dubbed audio tracks (DTS MA and Dolby 5.1). Also, it only has French subtitles. Unless you are comfortable with French subtitles, you should probably wait for an English-friendly release.

Stieg Larsson Millenium series,
By Film Junkie (Toronto, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Millenium: Film [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
I absolutely loved the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo so imagine my joy when learning all three films were available. Then my elation was dashed when checking the cover to discover the lack of English subtitles for the Swedish language track. I will be returning my unopened copies and wait for the edition with English sub-titles. I find it a bit disconcerting that I have to buy them first to find this out instead of relying on Amazon to provide appropriate information. With the English sub-titles the rating would have been 5 stars Millenium 2 [Blu-ray]Millenium 3 Reine Dans Le Pal

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Millenium: Film [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
I expected to receive a copy with swedish audio track and french subtitles, but unlike Millenium 2 & 3, the swedish audio track was not available on the version I received (as per description on the back of the package). I did not verify if eventually the swedish version would be also available by opening the product (did not want to prevent myself from returning the product). On the picture, you may notice 2 small words close to the main title (below "Millenium", and right of "Le Film"). It says "Version Francaise" (french version) and it is confirmed on the back of the package. If you receive another version, you may have better luck.
