I received a wired Milwaukee Sawzall a number of years ago, and have loved the durability and tough performance it offered. When I was in the market for a wireless drill, I checked with some of my trades friends to see what they recommended. While they believe that there are small differences between the contractor-grade equipment from Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, and DeWalt several have been using the Milwaukee products of late and swear by them.
I am not a daily user of my tools like they are, but I wanted something that was going to be able to last, had good torque/power, and was portable. While I already have a wired Sawzall and circular saw, the price for this set, including two 18v batteries was very good. Just the 18v 1/2" hammer drill by itself is worth half of this set together. So, while I didn't need all of the pieces "technically", having the portability of the cordless system is a very nice to have.
I have found for my use that the drill and circular saw last for quite awhile on a battery charge, and the charger does a pretty good job of charging the batteries reasonably quickly. If you have a tough job for the Sawzall, it will chew through battery juice very quickly, and I find for long, high torque jobs, that having a wired variant is better e.g., cutting through a dozen pallets. I suspect that would be true for the drill and circular saw as well.
Overall, I could not be happier with this set for my use. Great product, great performance.
