Great to work with, and the magnetic feature hold the screw also. My only regret is that I should have bought the larger set.

Stay Away! April 10 2011

I bought these for use at work, thinking I'd try them out before buying sets for all my guys. I use Milwaukee tools regularly and have had great success with them, so I thought it should follow that their accessories would be of the same quality. I'm glad I tried before hand... the two most heavily used sizes (for me anyway) broke within two days of use. The magnet came out of the 5/16 bit and the 3/8 bit sticks in the gun's holder, making it useless. They have a shorter shank than the ones I usually buy, which makes them easier to get in and out of tight places. The short shank is the only reason they got two stars instead of one. The whole set is now in the trash... what a waste of money. Don't bother buying these. You'll be let down.

My favorite nutdriver bits May 9 2010

I got tired of buying magnetic nutdriver bits separately. I also wanted a set that would fit into a magnetic bit extension I have. This Milwaukee set is made to order. They are color-coded, which helps me quickly retrieve the right one from my drill pouch. I use these with a Milwaukee V28 drill, but you could use them with anything that will handle a nutdriver. So they would work in a magnetic handle, a magnetic bit extension, just the chuck of the drill, or even non-magnetic systems that use a ball bearing to lock the bit in. That is what that divot in the end of the bit is for.

The heads of these are tapered and yes that has come in handy several times. I've found myself trying to squeeze the nutdriver head into a tight spot and that taper made the difference.

My only complaint is that I've already managed to chip the magnet on the inside of one of them. I chock that up to normal wear and tear though. It's happened with other nut drivers.
These nut drivers are also impact-rated. So you can be sure that the shank won't be shattering in your face. Don't make me remind you to wear safety goggles.

These are the nicest drivers I have used to date. The color strip allows for quick id among a bunch of other stuff. The tapered ends don't bind in tight spaces and the magnets are very strong and hold screws securely. You cant go wrong with this set.

Not really for impact use.... Aug. 19 2013
By jamfanwp - Published on Amazon.com
I work at a chair factory, and we use 5/16 bolts for the hardware. We use Master Power impact nut runners. I purchased these along with a 3 inch extension. I drive 400-700 bolts per hour at up to 100in/lb torque. I shattered the first one on about the 30th bolt. The 2nd went an hour later. I babied the third one and got it to last all the way 5 hours into an 11 hour shift. They didn't just crack, or break off, they shattered. Had I been running at full speed, all three would have broken in less than an hour. I purchased these because of the ergonomics, they allow a nut to be fitted into them much faster than the flat face bits we are given at work. That "last 10x longer" advertisement is attractive, but I usually get about 100,000 bolts out of an apex nut driver before I blow the side out of it. Some of these did not see the 100th bolt. If you need a bit for a true impact driver, go elsewhere. The 3inch extension also gave out before the 100th bolt, though it did not *break*, the 1/4 hex insert came out of the sleeve of the extension as a result of heat expansion from all the friction in the different contact points, and from the self threading bolts. I will be returning them all and trading out for a different brand.

i bought these bits for work the guys there really liked them and i thought they were awesome, today i went to do the first call and on the second screw the magnet fell right off, now it doesn't have a magnet anymore! i wasn't even using a impact driver which i do have, i was using my 3.6v regular electric screwdriver i hope milwaukee has some sort of warranty on them because i really need them for work. The nutdrivers look really good and i don't think they might break , their only problem is the magnet which isn't bonded properly with the bit.
