This is a excellent guide to the 51 mental factors and goes into details of Mind and Mental Factors, and forms the bases of Buddhist psychology and in fact it is an essential part of mind training in Buddhism as a whole. It's not for those looking for a light read but certainly essential for those who want to get to the details.

This book in incredibly dense, a little mythical, and dry, dry, dry. That said, there are flashes of wisdom that I found helpful.
