Screaming racist things in a loud way is not funny Carlos., May 31 2007

Seriously. He's not funny. He just yells out racial slurs and racist comments ... which in itself is not bad IF it is told in a form of a joke. But he doesn't tell jokes, he just says racist crap in a tone that almost tries to convince you that it's suppose to be funny.
Stupid people will laugh at his stuff. And if he does have good material every now and then, most likely he stole it from other comics.
Just search for Bill Cosby and Carlos Mencia on youtube, you can see an example of blatant and shameless plagarism.

The menu on the DVD is DDD!, April 16 2007

Okay, it may just be that my DVD player is estupido, but for some reason, it won't let me access single episodes and when I play it straight through, the first chapter in the episodes after the first all get skipped, so I have to play with the back/forward buttons. It took me two viewings to figure this out, so that's fairly DEE DEE-DEE on my part.
Kind of a dropoff in terms of material this time and it seems like there was a lot of self-censorship on the part of Carlos and others in his episodes. Highlights: A visibly ill Peter Boyle (RIP) telling the real meaning behind bumper stickers ("I Support Bush" really means "I can't get this f****** sticker off my car!"), Carlos' duet with Aries Spears on "KanYe West is a Crazy N****," and Punji the convenience store clerk.
There's also a nice nose-thumbing at Dave Chapelle's sudden development of ethics, but I'll let you watch that on your own.
By now, everyone knows Ned's schtick. Engineering student turned stand-up comic in the vein of Bill Hicks for the 21st century. Your mom knows what "Dee Dee-Dee!" means, so the sun may be setting on his fifteen minutes of fame. I still worry he's going to get shot. The use of the small person is tiresome in the face of shows like Jack***, and Joseph Mencia may be the Jose Jimenez of the new millennium. That said, it's still funnier than most of the stuff out there currently.
It's good, but the menu is wonky.
Signed,
epsteinsmutha
