This book is filled with beautiful, creative lace designs for dolls and their houses. A must-have for the lacemaker/miniature enthusiast (and I know there are quite a few out there!). Be warned though: this book is only for those with excellent vision.

Roz Snowden describes her patterns very clearly. I was a beginner when I started to work with her book and I found the instructions to be clear and straightforward.The pictures of the bobbin lace in the different settings alone makes it worth to buy this book.

After sad experience with other books of miniature bobbin lace patterns, I found that Liz has created a wonderfully detailed and accurate book of miniature patterns. There are pin by pin instructions for each pattern which are like a teacher at your elbow. What I treasure most, though, is that the prickings are precise and correct; no missing pinholes, no waving of hands with the comment that it will come easily. The holy grail of bobbin lace patterns is that they be complete and correct.The patterns are attractive and with some determination, can be achieved by most lace makers. I love this book and never tire of paging through it for ideas and just the right thing to make.
