This is my favourite version of this story,even though I grew up watching both the newer colour version as well. It is one of the sweetest and most innocent Christmas movies out there!! I so glad I could get it now that they aire it so little on t.v. The acting is very good, and not stiff like in a lot of older movies, and the end has me grinning every time. If you really do, deep down, beleive in Santa Claus, then this is the movie for you.

I got it for a buddy of mine who loves classic movies, and I live along 4th avenue myself so I did feel a bit of that selfless magic from the movie.:-)

RE: Miracle on 34th Street PurchaseGreat DVD, like the choice of original b&w or color. I am well award of this movie, have had it for over 25 years. All Amazon service, including billing and shipping was first rate. Have used them before, and will again.
