4.0 out of 5 stars A serial killer loose in Sydney, May 16 2005
By Glenn Martin "Never Read a Book Just Once" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Missing Pieces (Mass Market Paperback)
Detective Sergeant John Maiden is bored with his job. Seven years of the same drudgery, why can't something interesting happen? Unfortunately for John Maiden things do start to get interesting and not in a good way. On the trail of a serial killer who delights in leaving a growing number of body parts to be found by everyday white collar workers, John has to find the murderer before they kill again! Grudgingly teamed up with a new partner fresh from the academy and enlisting the help of a beautiful forensic specialist, will John be able to track the psycho down before the body count loses him his job?

Missing Pieces is Australian author Graeme Hague's first foray into the thriller genre and he does a superb job of keeping you guessing right to the very end. Set in Sydney's Rocks district you will find murder, mystery and passion with Missing Pieces. I greatly enjoyed this book, as I have with all of Graeme Hague's work, and will highly recommend this to anyone that has ever wondered what they would do if stuck in an elevator, with a severed finger found on the floor...
