Mitzi's first recording July 8 2001
By "doak5359" - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I had the priviledge of working with Mitzi as her road manager in the early 80's. During that time I was given a copy of this album on vinyl. It is a wonderful representation of Mitzi's early years and is beautifully recorded and performed. Pete King's arrangements rank among the best of the era (57') including the likes of Riddle and May. In fact, this album gave me the desire to find more work by King. Mitzi's energy and love of her audience is appearant in this recording. She also only worked with the best, and her first recording effort represented here also presents the best in arrangements and production of the time.

great entertainer, no doubt! July 16 2008
By Romeu França - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
I just got this one and listening it I went back to musicals golden age of the 50's. But now in 2008, it sounds better than ever. It shows how miss Gaynor was good, and somehow never the recognition she deserves. A pitty that she not included South Pacific song I'm gonna wahs that man out of my head. It is one for her best moments is pictures and sound.
