Don't waste your time and money,

This book is a joke. Book is aimed at young adults 12 and up but I would never let my child read this for fear of brain damage. She complains about how awful it was to grow up so tall and skinny (bwahahaha friken models). The mix is a little bit of the good old all-about-Tyra, a little bit of Harry Potter, a little bit of Twilight, a little bit of Gossip Girl,... every cheesy teen book and show that is popular right now. The end product is just badly written and ridiculous. It's almost funny... but you never know if the passage was intended to be funny or if it's just so ridiculous. I was expecting a bad book and in that regard the book surpassed my expectations.Save your time, money and trees and don't get this book.

This book was terrible. It read like someone trying to mesh Harry Potter, Twilight, The Hunger Games and America's Next Top Model into one entity. That's a rookie author mistake as taking a bunch of successful books/media and trying to make them one thing just does not work. This book was shallow and while it seems to be saying that everyone, even those who aren't "typically" beautiful are really beautiful in their own way it still comes down to physical appearances being the most important thing. I would never recommend this book to a young adult reader. I feel it may have been the worst book I've ever read.

Incredible,

I wasn't expecting much from this book, I love Tyra Banks as a person, and had several doubts believing her as an author. There is a lot of ridiculous things in the book, mainly the character's names, and awfully unsubtle city names. Oddly enough, I enjoyed reading it very much, it's a real page turner, you can't help but wonder what will happen next and are constantly surprised by the twists and turns.
