Crime Time 42: " Titan continues to put lovers of the intelligent, adult strip in it's debt with these reprints..."

Product Description

The dark underworld of espionage and crime is lit up by the fatal charms of the gorgeous Modesty Blaise - high priestess of pulp crime and goddess of cult thrillers! A new adventure falls literally into the lap of Modesty and her right-hand man Willie Garvin. Aiding a young girl battling drug addiction leads Modesty into the deepest, grimmest levels of criminal purgatory as she pursues her fanatical hatred of drug dealers. But who or what is bad suki and what will be the bloody cost of finding out? Also collecting The Galley Slaves and The Red Gryphon, this new volume includes an appreciation of artist Jim Holdaway by legendary comics illustrator Walt Simonson (Thor, Alien) and masses of rare and never-before-seen artwork!

5.0 out of 5 stars Modesty Blaise cartoons "Bad Suki", Sep 15 2005

This review is from: Modesty Blaise: Bad Suki (Paperback)
Anything Peter O'Donnell has done about Modesty Blaise -- cartoons or novels -- is a great read! He makes quite a wonderful character out of her and her friend Willie Garvin.

AND, when Peter writes under a pen-name -- Madeleine Brent (to match "Modesty Blaise", of course) -- he also creates great books!

5.0 out of 5 stars Modesty Blaise never lets you down!, Sep 12 2011

This review is from: Modesty Blaise: Bad Suki (Paperback)
Another collection of 3 excellent Modesty Blaise tales. Bad Suki may be slightly dated as it revolves around the "hippie" era of the late 1960s, but the target of drug use continues today. Overlook the one thing and settle back for 3 exciting Blaise stories that never fail to satisfy!
