About the Author
I was born into a middle-class family in 1964 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Presently I am thirty-something and am married to a wonderful lady. I think that my childhood years were quite normal. Each summer we vacationed in British Columbia, Canada. The mountains were like a breath of fresh air for me. Throughout school my grades were consistently average to low. The main reason was because I am a phonetic speller with a little bit of dyslexia. At times only I could decipher my own writing. Even now, as an adult, living with this can at times be a challenge. I was able to finish all the required grade school programs and even completed high school with an equivalency diploma. I mention this part of my early years only to show the capacity that we all have to succeed. If you have a challenge that may limit you, just keep on trying. You may not come in first but you will succeed in the end.
As a young adult while sitting in my apartment a thought stirred an old memory. The question this memory stimulated led me on an unforgettable journey. A lot of the experiences I had became A Moment with Eternity. After the original experiences I found people and places that helped me to understand more of what happened. The following is a list of some of the people and activities that have crossed my path: A few programs were through the Continuing Nursing Education Program at SIAST (Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology) in Regina. Here I completed two classes: (1) Healing Touch level 1 - April 1997. The instructor was Ruth Lamb, RN, MScN. (2) Therapeutic Touch - May 1997. The instructor for this one was Sherry McDonald, BScN. Through another program that SIAST offered I participated in a Shamanic training intensive weekend.
Through other venues I have completed the Reiki Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 - Master Practitioner. Currently working towards the Reiki Master Teacher level. I have participated in consciousness raising workshops and activities for over a decade. Some of the more noted ones are, Huna, Crystal-Gemstones, Shamanism, Holotropic Breath work, Tai Chi, Re-birthing Breath Work, Qi Gong, Bio-energetics Orientation, Introduction to Ericksonian Hypnosis, Therapeutic Metaphors, and attending the 22nd Annual SSF-IIIHS International Conference (a 10 day International Conference on metaphysics) held in Montreal, Quebec.
Professional History:
* Provided intuitive readings and energy work for others.
* Participated in and led group meditation sessions for over eight years.
* Assisted in the facilitation/teaching of Reiki workshops.
* Served on the initial Regina Reiki Center Board of Directors.
* Provided Reiki treatments, Healing Touch treatments and Therapeutic Touch treatments to others.
* Authored a few manuscripts available as E-Books. At present only one of my E-Books, A Moment with Eternity is currently available as a soft cover book through Trafford's print-on-demand service.

Finding God, Spirit or Divinity, call it what you will, is the ultimate goal, this reviewer
believes. Obviously, so does Bryan C. Hood. When I read A Moment With Eternity, I
sat back, smiled and nodded in appreciation of the author's success. Here is his journey in
his beautifully written and engaging new book.
"The time had to come to allow myself to fully open, to what, it didn't matter. I felt
protected and assisted." So began the conclusion to his search and so began an adventure
of biblical stature. "I began to become aware of the white light, as it increasingly
permeated the colorless energy...I re-entered the room where I left the physical body. I
heard the body breathing and slowly I integrated back into it."
Mr. Hood continues, "The words in this book hold many levels of truth, that you will see
as you expand within your personal level of understanding." With that, the reader is
transported through the stages of integration and development of the refined self. These
same words, over the course of time, can enable you to discover new insights you never
noticed before. A Moment With Eternity, therefore, lives and grows as we do. Each
re-reading adds additional insight into the search and knowledge of the Divine Kingdom.
In this reviewer's opinion, Bryan Hood has given us an excellent roadmap to discovery!
