Amazon.ca Product Description

DJs can put in some long hours as they spin the tunes and they need equipment that is both comfortable and rugged enough to withstand heavy use. These Monoprice Pro Headphones are designed for the professional sound spinner and the casual listener that wants the best quality sound and best durability available.

The earpieces on these 'phones are equipped with thick, comfortable padding that keeps the music inside and the noise outside. They swivel up to 90 degrees so they can double as a makeshift set of speakers. The headphones can extend up to 1.5" on each side and are wide enough to fit over a cap, while maintaining good contact over the ears. The headpiece is also padded on the inside and is made of flexible rubber, ensuring that it won't break.

The headsets do not have a fixed wire. Instead, there is a 3.5 mm jack in the bottom of the left earpiece, which allows a standard 3.5 mm audio patch cable to be inserted. This means that if you break a wire, you don't have to throw away the headphones or make a messy repair; just get a new cable and you're ready to rock again!

The 50 mm drivers and 100 dB sensitivity ensure that these 'phones produce good volume and premium sound clarity at all frequencies. The kit comes with two 3.5 mm male-to-male, gold-plated audio cables and a 3.5 mm to 1/4" gold-plated adapter plug.

The thicker cable is over 11.5 ft long and is well suited for professional work and for laying back on your couch to enjoy the tunes. A thinner, lightweight cable is also included, which measures about 50" in length and is better suited for more portable operations.

High-quality sound, supreme durability, and maximum comfort. These ARE the 'phones you've been looking for!

The reviewers really weren't kidding. These are the best sounding headphones that I've ever owned and they are probably the least expensive. I don't listen to music on headphones often, so I refuse to pay the premium prices that Beats, Bose, or Sennheiser command.

A couple of Cons:

1) they are not comfortable
2) they look and feel a little cheap
3) monoprice logo is horrific

To address the above Cons:

1) you will get used to it. There are also optional earpads available for purchase (Beyerdynamic EDT 250). They will work fine but I don't see the point of getting these as they cost just as much as the headphones.
2) they ARE cheap - they feel sturdy enough that I don't think they'll break, but I don't think my teenage daughter would wear these out of the house under any circumstances
3) There are retailers that sell stickers that will cover the ugly logo

All in all, I'm not disappointed. I'm pleased with the purchase as the headphones preform exactly as expected.

For this price you cannot go wrong with this headphone. Sounds great, doesn't look cheap and is built really well. I don't how they did it but seriously for 25$, these are amazing.

Very cheap, for a very rich and deep sound. Really massive difference compared to speakers or earphones. For someone who is looking to enhance his music enjoyment without dishing out hundreds of dollars, excellent fit.

The sound quality of these headphones are very nice, definitely a bang for your money. This is my first day using this headphone so commenting on durability is out of the question. However, there are a few other setbacks which I would like to address, notable enough to make me reluctant to award this product full points.

1. The build of this headphone is very sloppy, the headband is literally 3 pieces of hard plastic screwed together with nails. Not only does this lose points in the aesthetics department but the plastic itself isn't very flexible either, after i put it on my head, the 3 parts. rather than bending in unison, seen to almost separate under the tension which makes me question the fate of this headphone after extended use.

2. The headphone is very small, which means two things: 1) it puts pressure on your head and it starts to hurt slightly after some time and 2) I am someone who likes to put my headphone around my neck while it sits idle, this now proves to be impossible as the curvature of the headband is so small, it literally chokes the breath out of me (and mind you, I do have a pretty thin neck, so I imagine that this would be a problem for quite a number of people)

But other than that, the headphone works great. I'm ok with overlooking these flaws due to the sound quality and am currently pretty happy with my purchase, but if comfort and build matters alot to you, then I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Pros: Good sound quality, cable can be replaced/detached, fits almost every head size, the price.
Cons: Ears warm up when wearing for a long period of time.

I don't consider myself a sound pro, far from that, but for this quality of sound and price it is a bargain.

looking at the other reviews I knew these would be a good deal but I was still surprised at the amazing sound quality. Love the fact that the the 3.5mm chord can be detached. If you use headphones a lot the wire is what breaks and the fact that you can replace it on this one makes it very durable. They also throw in two 3.5mm cables and an adapter! overall very happy.
