These head phones are of poor quality and way to expensive. I bought these for my 13year old daughter who also was debating on asking for them for her birthday because she thought they were too expensive.I went ahead and ordered them for her. The seller was very efficient. We received them 3 days. After 1 week of normal use, the cable that connects the head phones to the iphone, cracked at the base where it connects to the iphone. After 3 weeks of use, one of the ear socket came out!!!. Keep in mind that my daughter puts the headphones back in their case every time she finises using them and is very careful with her stuff. I do not recommend Monster Beats Solo.

At first I largely purchased these headphones for their looks, however after using them to listen to my songs I was truly blown away by their sound quality. These headphones offers clear powerful bass (as you would expect from a product with Dr. Dre's name) but the bass does not overpower the mids and the highs and I was still able to experience clear crisp vocals. Build quality wise I would have to give a mixed review, the new improved headband is truly very flexible and appears to be durable to large amounts of bending and twisting, however overall the headphones still feel flimsy and delicate in my hands. I would definitely recommend getting one of these if your interested in a great looking pair of headphones with good sound quality, just make sure you treat them well.
