Product Description

Life on the Kilbourne Cattle Ranch will never be the same.

Nestled in a remote Montana mountain valley, this has always been a peaceful place. Jack, his dad, Will, and Andy have always kept it simple - hard work and a feeling of contentment at the end of the day. They like it that way.

When Jack finds his long lost daughter, his life seems complete until tragedy strikes leaving him to raise an injured grandson he has never met. The men are definately going to need help.

Jack thinks he's found just what the doctor ordered. What he doesn't realize is the 'sweet little lady' is going to turn their lives upside down and inside out. Determined to turn the old ranch house into a home and this bunch of contankerous men into a family, Adrianna Banks, armed with her faith in God and a quiet sense of humor, sets out to just that.

2.0 out of 5 stars A Book with Potential but too much Profanity May 17 2013
By iluvtkj - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition
Although this book would have benefited from an editor, it was an entertaining story and I enjoyed seeing the everyday struggles. The point of view changed so often that sometimes it was hard to know whose head we were in, but my biggest problem was the use of profanity. It made me cringe the first few times, but got much worse as the story continued. If you are like me and do not appreciate offensive language in your Christian fiction, this book is not for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good family values Jan. 28 2004

This is truly a wonderful story of the Montana west and the hardships encountered by their residents. The story is romatic with good Christian values. Could hardly put it down. Would love to read a sequel to this wonderful story. Would recommend this book to all lovers.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected May 31 2012

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This was a good story if you like a surupy kind of story. What I didn't like about it was... first I read Christian fiction, and although there were many scripture references why the cursing? I have read so many great Christian fiction books and not one other has
had to use profanity. I have often said if you won't use those words in front of the Lord don't use them...
second.... the 9 year old boy actually talks like and adult.....
This boy I would have loved instead I had your average child like tough guy that did not need to have the facts of life spelled out
to him at this age.....
I think the author needs to decide which genre she is going to write disappointed in the writing.

I was staying in Kalispell, Montana and found this book at a local book store. A great read! Sweet characters! Good relationships! Old-time American faith and values! I recommend it for the whole family!

5.0 out of 5 stars Montana Morning Nov. 7 2003
By Margaret Dunbar - Published on
This book was reminiscent of the way life used to be. It showed interesting relationships between people and yet portrayed high moral standards. My copy has been passed on to other family members that have greatly enjoyed it also.
