"More Pricks Than Kicks" is one of the great overlooked CDs of 1990s alternative rock explosion. I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled upon this overlooked gem.The album contains catchy lyrics and smart musical hooks, searing guitar lines, and just really well put together rock songs -- you can hear some echoes from 80s underground indie bands such as the Replacements, Dinosaur Jr., and Mission of Burma. Great energy, great songs.
Ten years later the music still holds up very well. Highly recommended.
