5.0 out of 5 stars significant Earpiana, Mar 20 2007
By wyatt earp "gunfighter" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Morgan Earp: Brother in the Shadow (WYATT EARP: Family, Friends & Foes) (Paperback)
Mr Boyer has, once more, transported us to the world of Earpiana with delicious new tidbits of the martyred brother, Morgan. He takes us to the frontal lobe of those that were there and gives us important glimpses of another member of that iconclastic frontier family, the Earps.

This is production is one more important link to the Earp saga. If you are searching for truth, anchor here.

4.0 out of 5 stars A small book, but VERY good, Oct 17 2008

Yes, this book is very small. And it has tons of photo's. It costs a lot of money for someone to put a book like this together. And there is a LOT of writing - tons of stories, etc. If you are interested in Morgan Earp, you will find that there is next to nothing available. I personally thought it was fantastic. Maybe it was worth $10 instead of $15 - get over it. I don't know what the first reviewer was expecting, but its not as bad as they make out. I have added this to my Earp collection, and am very pleased. Just beware that its not a huge book. Also be aware that its has TONS of text - not the page or two reported by that one person. I totally disagree with that. Obviously they were expecting a 400 page book or something. This is about 30 pages. If you're looking for historical records, then you won't be disappointed. imo

1.0 out of 5 stars What a joke!, July 26 2006
By Jase Barber - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Morgan Earp: Brother in the Shadow (WYATT EARP: Family, Friends & Foes) (Paperback)
Book? This wasn't a book, this was 15 page (short pages about two paragraphs each) stapled-together article that I paid an inflated price of $15 for! I could have typed the whole thing out on two pieces of standard-size (8 1/2 x 11) pieces of paper. $15! I have never in my life felt more taken. How these people can get away with legally charging that is a miracle. The author does little more in his 'short article' than to belittle all other authors and historians. There wasn't any new or even any 'old' information of value at all. Trust me, there is nothing to be learned or gained from this 'book' except the cold, hard fact that sometimes people rip us off. Like the author/publisher did by charging me $15 for a bad, uninformative article. Save your money and don't buy this. In fact, I only gave it one star because there wasn't any option for picking zero stars. Type in the words 'Morgan Earp' in any search engine and you will find 100,000 times the amount of information you'll find in this short article.
