Product Description

Hilary Duff stares off the cover of Most Wanted with the look of a doe-eyed, feathered-haired criminal. Or maybe she's just exhausted, which would explain why she revisits so much already-released material. Three of the teen queen's biggest, brightest hits ("Come Clean," "Rock This World," and "Why Not") get the remix treatment. Impossible though it seems, each remix is still zippier than the original. Perennial fave "So Yesterday" is squished between the hard-rockin', deeply satisfying "Mr. James Dean" from 2004's Hilary Duff and the too-girlie-for-its-own-good "Metamorphosis" from the same-named 2003 disc. There are three originals including opener "Wake Up", a slightly self-pitying look inside the celebrity glass bubble, but to a great beat, the danceable "Beat of my Heart," and emo-esque "Break My Heart." The burning question of whether it's worth it to buy this record based on the inarguably good remixes and three original tracks will be dictated by how severe her fan base's withdrawal symptoms are. If magazine covers bear any relation to the old practice of plastering a town with "wanted" posters, odds are Duff's zillions of fans will not only find this disc but help her deliver on its smart title's promise. --Tammy La Gorce

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Catchy Album Dec 6 2005
Format:Audio CD
I'm 21 years old and I'm proud to say that I like Hilary Duff. At such a young age, Hilary has managed to achieve so much and yet she's always humble in interviews and dealing with fans. She's pretty but doesn't dress trashy to 'show off what she's got'. She's everything that Mary-Kate and Ashley wish are, now that their title got vandalized from Cocaine addictions.
This Album is a good mix of songs by Hilary. It's catchy and fun. Because she's an entertainer, and not an artist, this album does not have much vocal range, and so this is an EXCELLENT album for sing-along. I was kind of bummed that "Now You Know" from the Cinderella Story Soundtrack wasn't on here but whatever. "Wake Up" is an upbeat and catchy song to start off the Album. "So Yesterday" and "Why Not" are also fun, catchy songs. Hilary Duff is truly an entertainer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Greatest Hits Album! Aug. 17 2005
By Gregory
Format:Audio CD
I would highly recommend Most Wanted to any Hilary Duff fan. The price difference is so small between the regular cd and the collectors addition, so I would just spend the extra money for 4 signed pictures, and a collectors box. People keep saying "there are only three new songs" but there are three new songs, not including Wake Up. Then there are remixes of several songs which give them a whole new sound. Also, there is an acoustic version of who's that girl. The regular Most wanted only has 13 duff hits, while the collectors edition has 17. Her new sound is definitly more rock/80's due to the good charlotte influence. Track 3 called Beat of My Heart is a techno kind of song, really catchy. Over all you can listen to this cd over and over again. A great buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! June 19 2006
Format:Audio CD
I have to say i've been a Hilary Duff fan since Lizzie McGuire. Mind you, I didn't even realize she was in Casper Meets Wendy, but she did a good job on that too.

Anyways, I thought this album was amazing, considering I don't own any of her other ones, and yes people i'm still a fan .. just because I haven't bought any of her other ones doesn't mean i'm any less of a fan. Bu anyways, I absoultly love this one because her songs are more orignal than the others, I love how she has a hidden track. I was kind of shocked to hear that song, and I also love the song "I Am". I think that song is totally true about her. The one thing I noticed wrong with this album, was the booklet. In the lyrics to "Why Not (Remix 2005)" the lyrics are totally different from what the song is. Did anyone else notice this? ... or is my CD just one of the defected ones? Anyways, I totally give Hilary 5 stars on this album because she's my idol and i totally love her music!! I'm also VERY greatful to be seeing Hilary in concert again! Should be an interesting one, since this time i'm on the floor .. 3 rows from the stage babyee!! WOOHOO!! =]

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretty bad... Sept. 5 2005
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I wasn't expecting much from this CD. At first, I decided to just buy it, but when I saw the song listing, I realized that I had every song on it.
This CD has remixes, and most of 'em are bad. The originals are much better, and make these remixes look like absolute garbage. The new songs are alright, but don't make the CD any better.
Hence, I decided to download the new songs onto a CD, as well as the others, onto an MP3. I spent nothing, and got the exact same CD, without the package. That's it. I saved $14.99. I would recommend burning a CD with all the songs on it, instead of wasting hard-earned money at Wal-Mart to purchase this CD that isn't very good at all.
Poor job, Hil. Let's see some new material.

3.0 out of 5 stars Someone's Watching Over Me???? Oct. 10 2005
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This is a pretty decent collection of songs, but I couldn't help but notice that "Someone's watching over me" was missing from the collection. That is clearly her best song and it was a single in some countries, so why was it not added?
