5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sci Fi, Oct 16 1998

This is a well written story. Though you know the bad guy from the begining, it does not take away from story. You watch the young woman mature from a carefree, everything is okay person to an adult who takes responsibility. I truly enjoyed the ending. She takes her revenge in a positive manner and ends up with the best of both worlds.

1.0 out of 5 stars Annoying characters, Oct 11 2005
By Lynxie Wyvern - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Mother Grimm (Paperback)
I read this a while ago, but it still sticks in my mind as one of the worst books I have ever read.

Twila is whiny and annoying and indecisive. I found her obsession with her egg cells selfish. Also, I hated the love interest she ended up with.

This could have been a good book -- the world was certainly interesting -- but Twila's whininess and the overall bad writing style ruined it.
