5.0 out of 5 stars Courtesy of Teens Read Too, April 29 2010
This review is from: Movers & Fakers (Paperback)
Three girls, all friends and roommates, each with their own goal at Alpha Academy.

One wants to dance circles around her competition while getting the boy she wants; one wants to prove to the headmistress that she's worth her weight in gold and tell the truth to her ex-boyfriend about their breakup; and one hopes that no one will find out she's using someone else's acceptance letter and identity at the Academy.

When the real Allie J. Abbott comes to Alpha Academy, Allie A. finds herself lonely, without friends, and without a boyfriend. Skye finds herself hating the real Allie J. and wants to find a way to get her kicked out of the academy. When Charlie offers to knock out the island's security cameras, fate seems to be on her side, but will she be able to win the guy, win the competition, and still be true to herself?

Charlie is trying to keep the peace in their dorm house, but it's hard when the one she thought was her best friend turned out to be somebody she wasn't. Charlie comes up with a brilliant idea to knock out all of the security cameras, so that her friends can really shine and outshow Allie J. while mending their friendships. It seems like the perfect plan for everyone, but will Charlie be able to forgive Allie A. and give up her ex-boyfriend to help her roommate out?

Honesty and loyalty are tried, romances tested, and friendships are on rocky ground at Alpha Academy. Only one person can win the title of Alpha. Who will get sent home and who will stay to try and achieve their dream?

This story is really well-done. The characters are easy to relate to, the problems they face are believable, and the plot is well-developed. MOVERS AND FAKERS will appeal to any girl who's ever faced betrayal, competition, and/or boyfriends.

Readers who have liked the CLIQUE series as well as realistic fiction will especially enjoy this sequel to ALPHAS.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Much Drama, Jun 23 2010
By Christopher G. Higgins - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Movers & Fakers (Paperback)
This book had so much more drama then from the 1st.
SKYE: Skye is totally done kissing up to Mimi. Now all she is focused on is totally ignoring Allie A. and getting that lip action she has been wanting with Taz. But after meeting Sydney on a boat ride with Taz. Skye wonders if Sydney is the one for her or Taz. Do you want to know? Get the book to find out!
ALLIE A.: Now that she realized that Shira is not going to exspel her she feels totally excited. But it doesn't all go well when everyone finds out the true secret about Allie A. Want to find out? Get the book!
Charlie: She is totally fed up with friendship. And then after skyping her Thailand friend,Jess who was a geek turned hottie Charlie realizes she doesn't need Darwin but Allie A. does. She finally tells Darwin why she broke up with him and at first he is mad but then he is in love. But that is right after she got back together with friendship with Allie A. who she encouraged to try and win Darwin back. UH OH! I can't wait for the next book to come out to see what happens between Allie A.,Charlie, and Darwin!

THIS WAS A EXCITING BOOK THAT I TOTALLY GOT ADDICTED TOO! LISI HARRISON HAS DONE IT AGAIN!
