Product Description

From Library Journal

Allen (Nothing Down: How To Buy Real Estate with Little or No Money Down; Multiple Streams of Income) has now moved on to espouse the web as the path to more wealth and personal freedom. The first third of the volume is simply hype. The middle third reviews marketing fundamentals as applied to the net material that one might find in any marketing text. The remainder devotes individual chapters to methods for making money on the Internet such as niche marketing, auto responders, selling links, placing ads on your web page, net auctions, and affiliations with companies who want access to your clients. Allen freely uses other individuals to explain concepts and, unlike many authors of this genre, gives them credit. The volume also has a reputable publisher, an author with a proven record of popularity, arguably less hyperbole than most, and a focus on marketing basics. Despite the ongoing shake-out in the high-tech arena, there is always an audience for get-rich-quick schemes, and Allen's latest title is a cut above the rest of the Tony Robbins or Dave Del Dotto ilk. An acceptable public library purchase. Patrick J. Brunet, Western Wisconsin Tech Coll.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid How-To Book, July 28 2002

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People Make Extraordinary Money Online (Paperback)
In "Multiple Streams of Internet Income" Allen points the way to using the Internet as a vehicle for attracting wealth and the personal freedom that comes with wealth. The book covers marketing fundamentals as well as how to apply those principles to the special needs and opportunities of the Internet.

In addition, it covers specific opportunities and techniques unique to the Internet and how to use them to make money. (For example, selling links and web-site affiliations). And, of course, it covers more traditional manners of generating income such as advertising, auctions, niche marketing, etc.

One of the best things about the book is the detail with which he goes over the process from beginning to end and all of the options in between. This produces a repeatable framework that anyone can use to follow Robert Allen's footsteps.

The bottom line is that the Internet is probably the fastest and easiest method for making a lot of money in the current economy. Following the principles and techniques set forth in "Multiple Streams of Internet Income" the average person should be able to create sources of recurring online income. Recommended for those wishing to pursue using the internet as a source of either primary or secondary income.

1.0 out of 5 stars I would never buy this, or any other book by Allen because.., April 7 2005
This review is from: Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People Make Extraordinary Money Online (Paperback)
I receive so much spam from Allen, or from people hawking his "get rich quick" schemes, that buying anything written by this guy, even if he is a "genius", would only reward bad behaviour thus making me party to the scourge of spam. Since I have no desire to be part of the problem, I choose to be part of the solution by not buying any products or services from those who spam, even if the products or services would otherwise be interesting, not to suggest that Allen's is.

"Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People Make Extraordinary Money Online" - in a word, spam! If Allen was such a maven of marketing, he would not have to alienate huge swaths of the population to achieve his goals.

1.0 out of 5 stars Steer Clear From This Junk, May 19 2004

This review is from: Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People Make Extraordinary Money Online (Paperback)
After reading this book, the only conclusion I came up with is that we "Hard Working, Middle Class Americans will almost always be fooled by Author like this Capitalizing on our ignorance of these quick money making scams, this book those nothing but to draw the average reader into his other "Get Rich Scams". Their is no solid information here as to how to go about it properly step by step sound financial advise, however some reviewer here indicate that at least it should be taking as ideas, but even then, the bottom line always will remains shallow.

America will always fall short of these predators, Keep in mind that this author (Scammer) those not have any proven track record of making, building or helping in creating wealth for anyone that you know of other than DREAMS of becoming rich.

By this time, we should have learned our lessons from past experiences with people like Robert Allen. Invest the price of this book on a nice dinner for your significant other, He/she will love that investment.
