Amazing cozy mystery read. May 27 2010
By Mae Doe - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback Verified Purchase
I did not watch the tv show, but that is not required to enjoy this. Jessica is only a narrator between stories written by mystery writers on different subjects (but always a murder). She literally only adds a sentence or two as an introduction before each story. So, no need to be acquainted with the show in order to enjoy. The stories are really easy to read and get into, so it's a quick read. I bought this for the Charlaine Harris story from the Aurora Teagarden series, but there are tons of other great stories to enjoy besides the CH story.
Jessica Fletcher in the library Oct. 30 2012
By Leah Lefler - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
in Charlaine Harris' short story "Deeply Dead" Jessica Fletcher is a visiting author to Aurora Teagarden's library. She is supposed to do a reading and book signing, but someone is murdered in the library that morning. Jessica helps solve the mystery along with Aurora. I only read part of book 1 in the Aurora Teagarden series but I still enjoyed this. It wasn't super thrilling but it was interesting with a twist. I'd recommend it for a fan of the Teagarden series and even for a fan of Murder, She Wrote (the TV series).
