After beginning to watch this program on TV this past season for the first time, I could not believe I had somehow managed to miss this fabulous Canadian series. Having Yannick Bisson as the lead makes it even easier to enjoy. The other actors are wonderful and I have absolutely become fasinated with the entire series, so much so that I had to see more of it. Ordering Season three has peaked my interest and I have since ordered Seasons 1 and 2. Watching these on video gives me the opportunity to rewatch my favorites, which is all of them. When Season 4 comes out on DVD, I will be getting that one too!!
I am pleased that this series has been renewed for a 5th season by CITY TV and hopefully will continue under CBC.

I started watching the series after hearing about it from a friend. Now I am hooked! I bought season 1 and now 3. I can't wait to get season 2. [Out of stock when I tried to get it.]
It is well written and has a good combination between 1890's science, intrigue and some humour.
I grew up in Toronto, so seeing the old city and old landmarks adds to the enjoyment but I think anyone would like the show.

I love Murdoch Mysteries but because it is on so late now I have to wait for the DVDs to be released so I can watch the shows. Thank Heaven for DVDs. This set was well worth the wait.

If you like a good mystery set in the olden days then this series is for you. It's well acted and written.
