One of the cutest romantic films I've seen in a while. Each character was wonderfully portrayed and the lovability of each one added the perfect touch of tension, especially in the midst of a curious dilemma, leaving me wondering until the last moment: "What's going to happen?" I didn't find this film predictable at all and the ending had a deliciously original twist to it! I had rented this from iTunes but am buying a DVD so that I can watch it again and again. :)I should add that it was refreshing to be able to watch an entire movie without wincing at profanity, nudity or sexuality, all of which seem rampant in most movies today.

Seriously, this is a fabulous movie, even if they didn't have millions of dollars for production. If you like clean romantic comedies, this movie is for you! Love it!

First, let me say that I agree with the other reviewers to date--this is a clean romantic comedy.As I got into the movie, I found myself getting upset with Jesse for dating 2 guys at the same time. More so when they both declared their love for her. I felt they deserved the truth & that she should have made a decision before it got to that point (both declaring their love). Easy to do, right? Well... There were things I liked about Ethan better than Troy, & the same goes for Troy. There were times when I thought I knew who she should pick, then Ethan or Troy would do or say something sweet that would change my mind. They both have qualities that would make most women happy. (Gee, I wonder why she couldn't make up her mind.) For me, there were a few emotional moments (okay, so I'm a softy), & the support she got from her family was great, especially her brother. He encouraged her to tell the truth, without judging her. The closer I got to the end of the movie, the more torn I was as to who she should pick. The thought of breaking the heart of either Ethan or Troy didn't set too well. Then, when she picked the guy she wanted, well, I just didn't know how to feel about that. I was happy for him, but cried for the other guy. WOW, talk about confusing emotions! Can't help it though--if someone cries, I'm definitely gonna cry. Now, to understand why she picked who she did, you REALLY have to watch the rest of the movie. It's really in the last few minutes of the movie that we, as well as the unchosen guy, get an explanation of why Jesse did what she did--why she chose who she chose. Believe it or not, but it does have a happy ending. An ending that I didn't expect. So, if you like good, clean romantic comedies, with a few surprises, and of course, a happy ending, then this is the movie for you. 14 of 14 people found the following review helpful

It is difficult to review this movie without the possibility of giving something away, but I will try my best to not be too specific in the things I reveal.Midway into this movie, I found myself thinking, "There's no way this movie can have a good ending." Jessi was either going to break one heart or the other, and I didn't want that to happen. I found the characters engaging and found myself rooting for both Ethan and Troy. Daryn Tufts has done an excellent job helping me to identify with Jessi's dilemma. In the end, I found Tufts' solution to the problem to be creative - if not a wee bit cheap, but still, it works. This is a great movie and I recommend it. It made me feel like I was flying. |
