Book Description

Jan. 1 1993 Blue Kite
"What happens when a witch recites a secret spell over you late at night? A lot! For one thing, you could turn into a crow.

"At first I wasn't sure I wanted to be a crow. Then I realized it was great. I could fly, I could shout insults, I never had to take a bath. It's a good way to get even with bullies, the grouchy woman on the corner, and even the babysitter who never lets you watch TV. The only problem is: If all the witches in the city leave for a convention in New York, how do you get to be a kid again?"

Imaginative and very funny, with an English text by Canada's premier literary translator, My Life as a Crow will amuse young readers and entertain their parents.
