Book Description

Jan. 23 2013
My Little Boy in Furry Pants is primarily a children's book for the wondering child in all of us, regardless of our age. The author tells a delightful story about her animal companions and how they have taught her that when our bodies die, our spirits go on forever. Chery's dogs and cats have shown her that love crosses all boundaries and triumphs even after the body has died and the spirit goes "home" to heaven. Through her stories of Rufus, Maja, Sheelin, Lucy-Liu, and Itza, the author explores life after death, near-death experiences, and the truth that ultimately, death does not separate us from those we love. Chery Esau also gently introduces young readers to new concepts such as animal communicator, animals mourning, animals in spirit, telepathy, animals in heaven, and animals as teachers and healers. Bottom line, this children's book encourages children to be sensitive and kind to animals. Whimsical four-color illustrations accompany this wonderful story about animal companions and humans who love one another unconditionally.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Little Boy In Furry Pants Sept. 26 2013
By Avid Reader - Published on Amazon.com
All I could think about while reading this book was that "the child who gets to read this before becoming an adult is really lucky!" My Little Boy In Furry Pants captures what a child comes into the world with before becoming "programmed" by outside sources, religions, etc. A brillant and moving read!

This is a must have book, it is not just for children.
Innocence, magic and deep, deep love emanates from Chery's memoir about her beloved dogs. This book is a gem and has also the most beautiful illustrations.
