My daughter and I love this book. We got it last year when she was two and it was a big hit, and at three she's having fun with it again this year. My board edition is big and sturdy so my one year old son can chew on it and turn the pages too. It is a re-telling of the basic birth-of-Jesus story in simple, RHYMING words (lots of fun!)with colorful, cute pictures, not at all tacky like some kids books. I can't think of a better way to tell the Christmas story to a young toddler and I'm online now buying it for my 2 year-old godson
