Grade school child is hooked!!! July 30 2012

This series along with the earlier one My Weird School is a great way to get young kids to read chapter books. My son is addicted to both series and at age 9 has read all of them. They are funny, consistent with the characters, clear humor, and age appropriate concepts to let the kids imagine and think. Love love love them, ...yep my kid reads them to me :)

Good book for Kids and Teachers Feb. 3 2013
By smcquerry - Published on
Format: Paperback
This is a very entertaining book for kids and teachers. It depicts some very crazy antics that teachers will do for funding in the school by having a reality show invade the day-to-day routine in the classroom. When the day-to-day is not good for ratings things become very strange. The students are extremely happy about watching their teachers make complete fools of themselves. The teachers go along with the craziness because they want extra money in the school to help fund activities they can no longer afford. The book is written very humorously for entertainment but has an underline theme of just how far teachers will go to help fund programs at a school. I recommend the book because it will not only be entertaining for students but also it shows the challenges that schools face today with funding.
Another fantastically fun book from Dan Gutman and the My Weird School ... Jan. 19 2015

Another fantastically fun book from Dan Gutman and the My Weird School series. Schools across the nation are in a crisis. Funds are being cut left and right for things students and teachers need, and Ella Mentary School is not exempt from these cuts either. Thank goodness for Mr. Klutz, that shiny headed inventive school principle, who finds a way to help out: reality TV! The teachers of Ella Mentary School need to powder their noses and get ready for some Dancing with the Stars, Fear Factor, and American Idol type action. A super fun read for all ages!
