5.0 out of 5 stars Reissue Blues, July 12 2011

I love love love the Mysteria stories! So I was all atwitter when the new book came up in preorder. Needless to say, my excitement dimmed considerably when I opened the box, only to see the cover state the now obvious news that this was a compilation of the two previously issued anthologies 'Myteria' and 'Mysteria Lane'. This is not to say I didn't sit right down and read the book, as the stories are great every time I read them. But for those of you who did NOT preorder this but are anticipating a NEW read, it is sadly not so. If you do read any of these authors and have NOT seen the previous anthologies, this is a great way to meet the residents of Mysteria: a truly unique town somewhere in the Rockies, populated by all kinds of people who have issues unlike you or I (except in love). All the authors, in their particularly talented voices can tell a great yarn, and they link the stories through common characters in this town. If you like a bit of the paranormal, humor and snark in your romance, this is the anthology for you.
I guess my only beef is no proper description when the item first came up for preorder, so if Amazon could fix that? This is not the first time I have had this happen, but the last one was still on my wishlist, and I double checked the decription right before I put it in the shopping cart. When I saw that I already had that item, I was able to delete it rather than buy it a second time. Still a great read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved it, But..., July 10 2011
By Elizabeth "CelticGoddess1326" - Published on Amazon.com
...when I preordered, I don't recall it saying anywhere that it was a reissue. My fault, I suppose, for not reading carefully - I saw "Mysteria" in the title and got stupidly excited, because I LOVE the Mysteria books. Still, I'm too disappointed to give it five stars - next time, could you girls write some new stories? Please?

3.0 out of 5 stars NOT A NEW BOOK!!!, July 24 2011

NOW I see all of the reviews that say this is not a new book. I preordered this book and was very excited to read it. I opened it and wow! What a disappointment, it is just the first 2 books reissued together. WHY doesn't Amazon tell you these things? I would give the books 5 stars, but feel cheated since I already own the first 2 books and now I have them again. It costs almost as much to return a book as what it is worth, so I'm going to chalk it up to a learning experience and NOT preorder from Amazon again, but read the reviews first to ensure that it is not another publishing trick.
