3.0 out of 5 stars The Mystery On School, Jan 14 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Mystery On Stage (Paperback)
My opinion of the book is that it's excellent because i did like how they were all friends .I think the book is kind of sad because the two boys and the two girls just live with their grandfather .Now,they have a chance to be in a real play.
This story was taking place at a school where the two boys and the two girls go.It took place a wednesday when the principal told them about the real play. The other characters in the book im reading are soo lee, richard,mc gregor, and grandfather .My favorite character is violet. The reason she is my favorite character is because she is very friendly to her friends and because she was chosen to be dorothy for the real play,The Wizard Of Oz.
I do not recommend this book to kids under 10.I recommend this book to kids over 11 because they will understand it more. And kids under 10 their going to think that is boring.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is kind of a scary book, April 16 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mystery On Stage (Paperback)
I really have to say none of The Boxcar Children books really scared me, but this one did. I loved this book because I love to act. It's about a girl named Jessie who tries out for a part in The Wizard of Oz at the theater in her town. There's also a girl named Sara who tries out for Dorathy. Sara gets cast as Dorathy and Jessie is the cowardly lion. But, alond the way strange things begin to happen. Can The Aldens solve the mystery before opening night.
