Book Description

There are no tales like...

Myth-Told Tales

It's a nightmare when master magician Skeeve and Aahz the Pervect fall into Dreamland...

Massha gets married with something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blew...up.

Bunny turns to Skeeve for help when an inter-dimensional beauty contest turns ugly.

Reality shows were never quite like this. Eligible bachelors vie to win Princess Gloriannamarjolie's hand-if not her heart...

Join Skeeve, Aahz, Massha, Tananda, Bunny, Gleep, the Fairy Godfather, and random myth-ical creatures in eight stories that span the manic MYTH universe. Robert Asprin and Jody Lynn Nye have compiled their favorite tales-and concocted some new ones-for this hilarious collection of myth-adventures...

3.0 out of 5 stars Short, but if you're jonsing it'll cure what ails you., July 9 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Myth Told Tales (Paperback)
It's too short to justify the price, but if you are a true myth-head you'll want it. Of course if you're a true myth-head you already have the book. Unfortunately as all of you know MYTH ALLIANCES was postponed to late July 2004. Oddly enough Amazon didn't update this book's description. What's a year I suppose... At least Robert isn't going through another multi year dry spell.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read, Nov 14 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Myth Told Tales (Paperback)
In the style of the previous Myth Link stories, this book offers other points of view besides that of the primary character, Skeeve. For anyone who has followed the adventures of Skeeve, Tananda, Aahz, Guido, and the rest, it is a must have. To those new to the series, it is a easy introduction.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it., Nov 11 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Myth Told Tales (Paperback)
8 dollars for 96 pages and three short stories? C'mon, guys! ...and only one of the three stories was at all satisfying. The first (Skeeve) story didn't need Skeeve to be there. The last (Aazh) Story didn't have a satisfactory ending - it was almost like the first chapter in a much longer story, rather than being complete. Only the one in the middle (Chumly, Tananda, and Guido) had not only a good plot, but tied the ends up. If I wasn't a completist, this would have been a waste of money, and as it was it was about 5 dollars more than it's worth.
