For Billy Wilder fans, this is a must. Get this box set now before it is discontinued now that Sony distributes MGM's library.

Where the Wilder Things Are Jan. 25 2012

Really, really, really enjoying the DVDs in this collection. I bought this because I wanted to own The Apartment and Irma la Douce, decided to splurge on the whole set. First movie I saw was Avanti! and it was very good. It is a Golden Globe winner. Have also enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes and the Dean Martin movie (good campy 1960s movie).

Typical Wilder humor. Out there and absurd but very funny. Great period detail of early sixties. Exaggerated stereotypes actually work.

Dino, Kim and Billy Wilder make a winning combo Dec 10 2013

Whenever you combine the great Dean Martin with all his talent and the lovely and gifted Kim Novak along with a Billy Wilder script, you're sure to enjoy it. Ray Walston also did a great job. I thought it could have been funnier, but overall, it was time well spent.
