A good movie touching on the history of Colditz as a POW camp in WWII. Pulls on the heart strings and ends with the unexpected! Good movie for a wintery evening by the fire...

Started out rather jerky, acting was not good, improved as time when on, but hard to believe they were in prison as their uniforms were very clean. Didn' t fall asleep though.

Good actors and effective acting in this piece (distributed by Timeless) but the original British pressing is on 2 discs and stands at 240 minutes. The 2006 North American pressing by Mti was on one disc but still listed at 240 minutes. This 2007 pressing from Timeless is on one disc but is listed at 184 minutes. What was in the one third of the programme that is missing or do I need to use a stopwatch to see if the box and listing are wrong?
