Touches on a very real situation in today's world of cyber space. A subject of concern for many a parent and how to protect their children from this very real possibility. Graphically depicts the tables turned on the predator, both actor and actress play their respective parts with passion and realism. Not a movie for the faint of heart.

Ellen Page is wonderful in this movie. Overall, it is a good movie, but not great. I would recommend it for people who like Ellen Page or a good suspense film.

a 14 year old girl has a three week chat-room relationship with aman.they decide to meet in person.it turns out he may be not be what he seems.but then neither is she.i won't give any of the plot away.you will have to watch the movie to find out more.i will say this film is along the lines of Fatal Attraction and others of the genre,except it turns the conventions of the genre upside down and inside out.it's exceptionally creative and inventive.i haven't seen anything like it before.i was also really impressed with both the acting and writing,as well as the dialogue.this is one compelling little thriller,although thriller might not quite be the correct word.it is certainly harrowing though.definitely one of the more interesting movies i have seen in a while.for me,Hard Candy is a 3.5/5
