A great job made by a great fan. Since the moment I start to see it I was prety much impress How Sam Dunn could capture the true essence of what is to be a real and seriuos Metal music's fan, lover and follower. He explains with true facts, out of any doubt all the bad stereotypes that the mainstream media has put on all of us that follow this great music. In The video we could see great bands like Iron Maiden, Slayer, Slipknot, Black Sabatth, Ronnie James Dio and others that express their opinion and thoghts about the diferent themes that the metal music is about.

What this film do well is to share with the us the passion of a fan of heavy metal in a well produced documentary. It's fun, well design, has good interviews and it's entertaining.
Sam visits the classics and interviews band members from black sabbath, dio, twisted sister, rush, motley crue, slayer (just to name a few).

i love this documentary, i think its one of the best i've seen to date. i love metal and its a great introduction to the genre. it starts with the supposed beginnings of metal and progresses on to issues surrounding the music and the fans and such. over all it was really well done, i recommend.

Decent history lesson but hardly academic.
The movie is good if you are a metal fan and want a very brief History 100 lesson of metal. Beware: Modern anthropology is not at all a part of this movie. Read more

Good job on a great subject!
This is a well done docu, on the subject of metal. Dunn is obviously wel versed in the genre and truly loves the music. You'll be surprised at how intelligent he really is. Read more
