As far as the KISSology series goes, it only makes sense that the first edition is the shortest. Quite simply put, the band wasn't being filmed too frequently, hence the lack of footage.
What is included though is great. It's a chance for new fans like me (I've only really been into KISS for about a year now) to see where it all started. I've read about the early days and that was thoroughly enjoyable, but it's another thing to see it in action.
It was really enjoyable to see certain elements of these old shows that are still around today - to see the seed be planted for the incredible modern stage shows.
Overall it was good, I would have liked more, but what can you do? We have to take what is available and enjoy it. Bring on volume 2!
