Ridiculous Characters, Zero Plot - Big Time STINKER!

I watched Wrong Turn 2: Dead End and was quite impressed with the film, esp since it's a direct to DVD sequel... I had watched parts of the original before and didn't like it but I figured I'd try it again -- Nope! Wrong Turn is a stinker! The characters are unbelievably irritating and stupid! The plot is zip! And if you're up for some creative campy deaths... Outta luck again! This movie feels like it should be the second rate sequel - Watch it only for the sake of seeing what led up to Wrong Turn 2 (Which I highly recommend!).
similar to "The Hills Have Eyes" except it's good 4.5/5)

Wrong Turn is about a group of teenagers stranded in the remote woods
and terrorized by a family of cannibalistic psychos.decent acting,a
fair amount of suspense and a few gory scenes make up this movie.the
movie is well paced,with very few dead spots i.e filler.there are no
unintentional funny scenes,which is always a bonus.the music suits the
movie well.the characters of course do all the required stupid
things.there is not a lot of character development,but the characters
are fairly well written and sympathetic.the makeup dept.did a good
job.the death scenes are realistic and the psychos look suitably freaky
without being over the top.all in all a fun movie with a few 'jump out
of your seat' scares. 4.5/5

Stupid people
Why can't we have a horror movie where the victims show a modicum of intelligence. That would make it even scarier. This one is a by the numbers, knock down the preppies.

Not original enough with stupid villains.
