I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but I was very impressed! Not only with the production quality of the dvd, but the singing/dancing performances by the entire cast! It was funny, it was charming, it was a feel-good quality production. You get past the voyeuristic elements quickly, though it never goes away altogether, and laugh and enjoy the talent on-screen in truly wonderful performances. I enjoyed this far far more than I had thought I might. A nice surprise.

I am a little surprised at the glowing reviews of this DVD. I thought this show would be a fun romp, but I was disappointed. I didn't absolutely hate it; it was too dull for that, but I found nothing to recommend it. It was just the men singing- they had by and large, pleasant voices, but the songs to me were nothing special- no voice wowed me, the sets were minimal and there wasn't really anything else. Obviously, there were also no costumes and really nothing special to make it any more interesting than suburban dinner theatre without any dinner, set design or clothes.

I have viewed this DVD several times now and not just to look at the handsome guys naked, but mainly because it is such an enjoyable show. The songs are well crafted, the singers have good voices, and the cameraderie of the performers and the sense of fun make it such a feel good event. What really surprised me was that the emotion of a couple of the songs and the performances really brought a lump to my throat. Highly recommended for enjoyable entertainment. I held back one star for the dull set.
