I have only played two of the titles so far, and have enjoyed them although the movement in the "Treasure in the Royal Tower" was quite annoying at times. They are among the best of the First Person adventure games I have played. (However, be on notice, that the only other ones I can name myself playing are 7th Guest, 11th Hour, and Myst, which really are not much more then glorified puzzle collections.) Of course if you are interested in the games, it would be much easier to read the individual game reviews. Each game has its own packed manual.The games are packed in a tin, and when most games do that they tend to throw every little bit of graphics on it. The tin is relatively subdued in this case, the bottom is flat, the same color as the top without any marks. The lid is hinged, with a raised border and image of Nancy Drew, and the edge is purple, the two smaller bands have images, all in all a very nice tin that can actually be used beyond storage of the games.
The bundled purple notebook is split into three sections, each section dealing with the games. The journal does not exactly have a concept sketch on every page, but close, the sketches themselves are relatively subdued, and repeat themselves. They take up a small portion on the page either on the lower-left or lower-right (away from the spiral binding), the cover of the journal has a twin figure of Nancy Drew depressed into the cover, the first one the same as the tin, then stretching out as a shadow, one of Nancy sleuthing with the magnifying glass.
All and all I am impressed with this edition, and would recommend it to ANY adventure fan looking for a fun time.

Ah, let's see...Broadmoor, which caused me to have a talk with my daughter about what constitutes really bad parenting. (In the game, not you.)Shadow Ranch, which will...oh, darn it, I can't give that away. Let's just say that it does have a scary ending.
and the arrival of the Couscous lady.
Seriously, though, I love these games. They involve thinking, deduction, and frequently the learning involved is real-world learning. For example, the pictographs in Shadow Ranch will be real historical pictographs. My favorite thing, though, is that Nancy won't let you use her phone around other people, and explains that this would be rude. Thank you, Nancy.

I bought this collection even though I already had played 2 of the 3 games included here.I bought it for the collector box and the collector journal, which are awesome. If you are a fan of Nancy Drew, this is a great set, and if you're new to the Nancy Drew games, well here you have some of the best games of the series!
