4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating historical fiction June 1 2010
By Lori M. - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
My 10yr old daughter and I really liked learning about history through this book. Interwoven throughout were historically accurate references to various people involved with George Washington's spy ring, medical practices of the time, conditions at Valley Forge, the faith of George Washington, and the British army. I give it 4 stars for its somewhat simplistic language, as I prefer to read books with more sophisticated writing (even for this intended age level). Overall, we highly recommend this and other books in the Crimson Cross series.
