2.0 out of 5 stars Very poorly done July 31 2009
Horrible I have watched many dinosars movies and this one has to be the worst. 1st it only 47 min and the scenes are very slow and there is very little creatavity with this. The only positive is it has good sound, picture quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very cool, entertaining and informative documentary March 10 2009
Format:Blu-ray|Verified Purchase
I'm a fan of dinosaur movies, particularly the "Walking with Dinosaurs" series by BBC. This one did catch my eye, and I do have to say it's one of the few films that I would put in the same league as "Walking with Dinosaurs"

The main attractions are of course the creatures themselves. They're very well portrayed and spectacularly animated, and you do get to see a lot of them. There are other parts of the film too such as: actors portraying paleontologists, visiting dig sites, unearthing bones etc. The film jumps between various story lines, but it all works together to make a nice coherent story that develops and progresses throughout the film. My 5 year old daughter loves it, and there's a lot in there for parents too.

If you like dinosaur documentaries, this is one I would definitely recommend. Especially on Blue-Ray, you really do marvel at these ancient creatures

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Sept. 3 2013
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I chose this item because I love to learn about dinosaurs, especially since I'm in the paleontology program at the University of Alberta. I was extremely disappointed. The narrator personified the marine reptiles to the extent that any person older than 10 simply would not believe. The creatures would not behave in the fashion portrayed in this dvd. Not worth the $20 I spent.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst one ! Oct. 1 2012
By Andrel
Please, DO NOT BUY IT !!!
This is the worst blu-ray 3D I bought.
You cannot use your 3D glasses going with your TV. You can only take the red/blue glasses supplied with the blu-ray disc.
Hey ! We are not in 1950 !!! The technology is far better today in 2012, so why there's still have that kind of 3D glasses in the world ???

I thought the movie was well made but very short, it is only 36 min long. I was definatly disapointed in the lenght. But the quality was awesome.
