I love atlases, and this was no exception. Very fun to read, and the extra reading on each page was great. Very Informative. Great for children and adults. Just because it says "Children's atlas" does not mean it is just for children. Have fun with it.

I brought this into my classroom and immediately had 5 students asking to read it and do projects form it! I really enjoy this atlas! You can do great economic geography lessons with it (specifically for Montessori classes) and it has lots of great info! Def recommend!

Just perfect! Each state has information on manufacturing, natural resources and many bits of information that might be little known. Wonderful for youngsters...a great learning tool!

Nice! Oct. 24 2013

This offers many details for many major cities as well as rivers! I find this atlas is great for using with my older children (12 and 10 yrs old). It is arranged kind of funny, instead of being alphabetical they are arranged by region. Each state has an interesting story and a list of facts. It also has very nice color pictures

Great book! Jan. 3 2014

Other books have a bit more information, but this is wonderfully illustrated and informative nonetheless. It holds the attention of my advanced 10 year old and my delayed 6 year old. I did find some information to be trivial and wonder why it was included in the description of my state. I have to wonder if the information on other states is similar. Overall, very good book to teach about states.
