I bought this book because I have read some of the other books that Casey Adams has written and found them extremely educational. He has a style of writing that is suitable for any level as he offers extensive information covering vast areas of the topics of his books. It pushes my knowledge of health and the body to great levels. The terminology sometimes over my head would make this very appealing to the highly educated in specialized areas. Yet is also very useful for those who are just looking for information. All the books I have bought written by Casey I still have on my bookshelf as reference. His books and this one too, seem to be a huge collaboration and organisation of all the information, recent research and knowledge of the topic of that given book. This one is not an exception. He has the ability to reach far out and cover vast areas which make it very interesting. His books elicit my interest in other areas. He is slanted towards more holistic areas which makes sense to me, but he does still cover Rx's, modern medicine/psychology, as well as herbal, traditional chinese, ayurvedic, psychological, mind/thought and goes into many other aspects of sleep solutions. I often read things that are related to the topic but also pertinent to other health aspects. There is an index in the back of the book for quick reference. I find it a bit too general and sometimes not as complete as I would like it, but it is still very helpful none the less.

I highly recommend this book - it provides a broad veiw of all available options, advantages/disadvantages of both and what all can be considered. For anyone seeking to take full responsibility for their body and their decisions with full knowledge - his books provide a broad foundational spring board from which to launch oneself.
