This review is from: Naveed (Audio CD)
I just wrote a review for Healthy in Paranoid Times...then I went and put on "Naveed"...I haven't listened to this cd in SO LONG...I had forgotton how much Jeremy ROCKS on this cd...literally..he ROCKS...especially when he goes crazy at the end of "TheBirdman"..I just had to share that with the world...and while I don't like ALL of the songs on this CD...the ones I do like, I LOVE (I don't really care for "Hope"...don't know why...)This CD rocks my socks...

One of the best rock albums of the 90's,
By Kris-John Kucharik (outside of Ottawa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Naveed (Audio CD)
Despite the success of albums like clumsy and gravity, Naveed is in my opinion, OLP's best album. Their original and very energetic rock sound helped put them on the map when this album was released. The album is packed with great rock cuts such as "The Birdman", "Supersatellite", "naveed", "dirty walls", "denied", "julia", and "neon crossing". It also contains one of the great singles of that year "Starseed". Never did OLP's material sound so fresh and original although they have followed up with several other great albums. For any OLP fans out there who haven't herad this album yet it is a must-have. It will be worth every penny.

Naveed,
By The One "Tim" (Toronto, ON, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Naveed (Audio CD)
This record is the best grunge record to date. Not Nirvana's "Nevermind", heck, nevermind Nirvana, hahaha not anything from the Pumpkins, or Pearle Jam or Alice In Chains. You want the best grunge record? it's OLP'S "Naveed" How could this not be a five star album? you cannot ask for a better song to start off the album than "Birdman" this song gets into my veins and makes me want to shout out singing. I get chills people, I really do. "Starseed" and "Naveed" are also classic and gives me big time goosebumps. Everytime I hear that bass kick in with the start of "Naveed" I feel like crying. An awesome fast pace to most of the album. Words cannot describe anymore, how great this album is. If you dont have it, I feel sorry for you, you dont know what you're missing. Classic Raine Maida, classic album, and classic Our Lady Peace. This record is one of the best of all time. In my books, it makes the top 10. OLP will be remembered as one of the best in years to come.
