Thanks, William for making my husband and I laugh during these strange and scary times! Your book was recommended to us by my mother,who is elderly and now quite reluctant to drive, fly or take the bus or train anywhere, but here she is recommending a book on unconventional travel and unusual insights! As Canadians occasionly escaping the harsh Canadian winter,we can relate to your adventures and misadventures in the Caribbean. As well, the tales of your hitchhiking days in Europe jolt babyboomer memories of carefree months "Eurorailing" or hitchhiking throughout Europe in in the 60's and 70's. We love your delightful book packed with hilarious anecdotes about your travels. Thanks for the laughs.
